Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PowerPilot ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and EApps Development LLC ("Company," "we," "us").

PowerPilot is a subscription software service that connects to your Tesla Powerwall via Tesla's official Fleet API and automates battery management based on rules you configure. Automations run on our servers and interact with your Powerwall on your behalf.

PowerPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" and "Powerwall" are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@powerpilot.app.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information.

To use the Service, you must authorize PowerPilot to access your Tesla account via Tesla's official OAuth 2.0 flow. By authorizing, you grant us permission to read your energy site data and send commands to your Powerwall on your behalf as directed by your configured automations.

You may revoke this authorization at any time through your Tesla account settings or through PowerPilot's Settings page. Revoking authorization will disable all automations.

You acknowledge that commands sent to your Powerwall by your automations may affect your battery charge level, backup reserve, and operating mode. You are solely responsible for configuring automations appropriately for your energy needs.

PowerPilot offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Pricing is displayed on our website. All prices are in USD.

• Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start.
• Billing: After your trial, you will be charged on a recurring monthly basis unless you cancel.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card information.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate Tesla's Terms of Service or Fleet API usage policies
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account with others or resell access to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

We aim to provide reliable, 24/7 service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service depends on third-party APIs (Tesla, ComEd, NWS) that may have outages outside our control.

Automation checks run approximately every 5 minutes. We do not guarantee exact execution timing.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS CORRECTLY INTERPRET ELECTRICITY PRICES, WEATHER CONDITIONS, OR TESLA API RESPONSES. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING YOUR AUTOMATION CONFIGURATIONS AND MONITORING YOUR POWERWALL.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EAPPS DEVELOPMENT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCREASED ELECTRICITY COSTS, BATTERY DEGRADATION, OR LOSS OF BACKUP POWER.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EApps Development LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your automation configurations.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and your automations will stop running. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
